Q: What types of activities is the studio suitable for?
Our studio is perfect for photography and videography, but it’s also a great space for workshops, private exhibitions, creative sessions, small events, pop-ups, artist talks, yoga, Pilates, and other wellness or community-focused gatherings.
Q: Do you accept collaboration?
Yes, we do! We consider collaborations on a case-by-case basis and are always open to hearing inspired ideas. If you have a project or concept in mind, feel free to email us at contact@stonesoup.info—we’d love to hear from you!
Q: Is smoking permitted in the studio?
No, smoking is strictly prohibited within the building.
Q: Are pets allowed in the studio?
At this time, we don’t allow pets in the studio. Some of our furniture pieces are hand-made and can be easily damaged in certain situations. That said—we’re animal lovers too! If your project involves an animal and you feel it’s essential to your shoot, please contact us. We’re open to discussing special cases. If you have a service animal, please also let us know in advance so we can best accommodate your needs.
Q: Is the space family-friendly? Can I bring kids?
Absolutely! All ages are welcome in the studio.
Q: Am I allowed to sublet the studio or transfer my booking to someone else?
No, subletting or transferring bookings is not permitted. The individual or entity that made the booking must be the primary user of the space.
Q: Can I use special effects like smoke, fog, or confetti during my session?
You're welcome to use special effects as long as you fully restore the studio to its original condition. If extra cleaning is required, additional charges may apply.
Q: Can I bring my own furniture or equipment?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring additional gear! Just be sure to handle all furniture and equipment (yours and ours) with care. Anything borrowed from the studio must be returned to its original place. Damages will be the responsibility of the renter.

Q: Do you provide photography/lighting services?
At the moment, we don’t offer in-house photography services. However, if you have a project or idea in mind, feel free to share it with us at contact@stonesoup.info—we might be able to help or connect you with someone in our creative circle!
Q: Do you offer long-term rentals?
Yes, we do consider long-term rentals on a case-by-case basis. If you're interested, please reach out to us at www.studiostonesoup with details about your needs.
Booking & Payment
Q: How do I secure a booking, and when is payment due?
To secure your booking, you must agree to our Terms & Conditions at checkout. A valid credit card is required, and full payment is collected at the time of booking, including any applicable fees.
A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is also required for all bookings. By completing your reservation, you confirm that you have a valid COI in place that meets our insurance requirements.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments through Stripe and PayPal, allowing you to use major credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets.
Q: What if I need to extend my booking or arrive early?
If you anticipate needing additional time, please inform us as soon as possible. Extensions are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Arriving early without prior arrangement may not be accommodated.
Q: Is there a grace period if I run a little over?
Yes, there’s a 15-minute grace period. After that, you’ll be charged for an additional hour.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 7 or more days prior to the booking date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date are non-refundable.
Q: Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes, you may reschedule your appointment up to 7 days before your booking date.
Studio Usage
Q: Are there guidelines for using studio furniture and equipment?
Please handle all furniture and equipment with care. Any items moved during your session should be returned to their original positions. Renters are responsible for any damages incurred during their booking.
Q: Is insurance required for my booking?
Yes, a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) is required for all bookings. This ensures coverage for any potential damages or liabilities during your rental period.
Q: What are my responsibilities regarding cleaning?
Renters are expected to leave the studio in the condition it was found. This includes disposing of trash properly and ensuring no personal belongings are left behind. Failure to do so may result in additional cleaning fees.
Access & Security
Q: How do I access the studio, and what are the procedures upon arrival?
Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a detailed welcome guide along with step-by-step video instructions for entering the building and getting set up with ease. Clients must adhere to all governmental and fire regulations, ensuring that all stairways are kept clear of debris in compliance with codes.
Q: Are there security measures in place?
Yes, for your safety and ours, there are two security cameras—one near the window and another in the kitchen area near the ceiling. They help us keep the space safe and secure.
